What is the area of expertise of Dr Bhushan?
Dr Bhushan is Paediatric Surgeon by training and has subspecialised in the kidney and bladder related problems of the children. This is also called as a paediatric urology. Please read relevant subsections under tabs paediatric surgery and paediatric urology.
He is an expert in doing surgeries by laparoscopy and using advanced technology of robot assistance wherever required. He is the member of a team who pioneered in the field of robotic surgeries for children in Western Maharashtra.
Do all problems will require surgery?
No. There are many conditions which might require a medical treatment and/or only observation. He prefers to do extensive scrutiny and decide about surgery only when child needs it. He also tried do it using minimally invasive technique.
What is his experience in the field of surgery?
He has 13 plus years of experience in the field of surgery and has been exclusively doing surgeries for children for last 10 years.

What to bring for appointment?
Please bring all reports and x-rays/images of investigations with you. It would be useful to forward the investigations on the +91 8329887997 on WhatsApp message and stating the problem to facilitate the process. Alternatively, investigations can be emailed on robo4kids@outlook.com.
Please do not expect advice/treatment plan before consultation in Clinic. If a telephone consultation is needed, it needs to be done as a phone call/video call after taking proper prior appointment. Please provide all the information about investigations/ images before the appointment to avoid multiple follow up appointments.
Please fill up bladder bowel diary if instructed by the doctor. It is helpful to know more about bladder and bowel habits of your child before visiting.
How can I do the payment?
Payment can be done either Cash or UPI mode.
If I have an insurance, how do I proceed with that before surgery?
Please get the Mediclaim/insurance preapproved before surgery with the help of the hospital team that you have chosen for surgery. We will provide doctor’s certificate and fill up the initial forms required but the parents and the admitting hospital must look after and keep us updated. The doctor will not be responsible for any non-approvals. Surgeon’s and assistant charges will be fixed before surgery and will not change. Please discuss rest of the billing concerns in the hospital.
